Buying A Home In Massachusetts
We Make First time home ownership less stressful
Buying a home is a big decision and financial commitment in any person’s life. There are many things to consider. For instance, where do you want to live? How much can you afford? Is it a good investment? It it the right time to buy?
Every situation is different and the agents at Better Place Realty can guide you in the right direction. We believe the first step in making any big decision is education. We recommend three steps to educate yourself in buying a new home.
1.) Talk to an agent at Better Place about what you are looking for and the areas you are interested in. Think about how much you would like to spend and any amenities you hope to have. We can help you find a new home, condominium or investment property anywhere in Massachusetts.
2.) Sign up to receive listings in the area and price range you are interested in. This will give you the opportunity to see how your expectations meet the market. If there are properties you are interested in seeing let your agent know and he or she can set up showings.
3.) Contact lending institutions to find out how much you would be pre-qualified to borrow. We always recommend that you contact a few different sources including your bank, a mortgage broker and a credit union or other financial institution. Rates change so you want to be sure you are getting the best deal. When you submit an offer the seller will require a pre-qualification letter. Look at your finances and determine how much money you can put down as a down payment and how much you will need to finance.
If you accomplish these three steps you will be prepared to find the perfect new home. Better Place is committed to working with you through the entire process and can assist with all the questions that arise.
